The Club organizes activities for its members on a regular basis. To participate you will have to join IWCZ or come as a guest of a member (only once). All detailed information about future events are distributed through the monthly Newsletter that members will receive via e-mail.

The activities committee is always busy trying to offer a balanced range of activities that will introduce the members of IWCZ to the best Zagreb and Croatia has to offer. Activities in the past have included: guided museum visits, outings to factories, craftsmen workshops, artists workshops, vineyards, breweries, health and beauty centers. But also cooking classes, photography courses and trips abroad have been organized with great success.

Once a month

The club hosts a General Meeting at the hotel Sheraton, every second Tuesday of the month for members and guests. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. The club always invites a special guest to the GM to give an introduction to a special interest issue. Bring 50 kn for the coffee and 400 kn if you want to join as a member . From 10:00 - 12.00 am. The language of communication at club activities is English.

As a member you can join any of the groups below, they gather weekly either in the office or in one of the members homes, contact the office for more info. Please be reminded that if you join one of the groups below but will never participate in the General Meetings or other activities you will still have to become a paying member of the IWCZ (Membership).

All activities are organized by members on a voluntary basis and free of charge (excluding the sports activities). We encourage members with special interests, knowledge or skills to share these with other members.

Special Activities

Every month the activities committee organises outings and visists to museums, workshops, factories, sports facilities, spas and sometimes trips outside Zagreb to get acquiainted with all Zagreb and Croatia has to offer.

The club organizes special events to raise money for charity.

The main event is the Christmas Bazaar at the end of November or first week of December every year. It is open to the general public. Most countries with diplomatic representations in Zagreb join and sell their national food crafts and products. It has been organized since 1995 and is reputed among Zagreb citizens for its good atmosphere and the offer of international Christmas food and presents. It has become a well established appointment on the Zagreb events calendar.
