The International Women's Club Zagreb was established in 1994 with the aim of creating a social network for international women living in the city. The Club is a non-profit organization and is officially registered with the Croatian government as such.
IWCZ is managed by an Executive Board, chosen and appointed by its Members. The Executive Board has a mandate for a year starting in June and finishing in May.

The IWCZ office is staffed twice a week by Board members - on Mondays (17:30-19:30) and Wednesdays (11:00-13:00) and is also open frequently through the week for Club activities. The language of communication for club and club related activities is English.

The Club organizes activities for Members on a regular basis. Every second Tuesday of the month a General Meeting is held at the Sheraton Hotel, when the month’s activities are unveiled. All income generated from Club activities – through fundraising events (
