The International Women's Club Zagreb was established in 1994. The aim of the club is to provide a social network for international women living in Zagreb. The club is a non for profit organization and officially registered with the Croatian Government as such.

The club organizes gatherings and activities for its members on a regular basis. Every second Tuesday of the month a General Meeting is hosted in the hotel Sheraton. The language of communication at official gatherings is English. The income the club raises through fundraising events (Activities) or products (Living in Zagreb) goes to charity. All women involved in the club do so on a voluntary basis.

The club is run by an executive board, chosen and appointed by its members. The executive board has a mandate for a year starting in June and finishing in May.
